Boeing employees are based at 65 locations in the UK and Ireland employing 2,000+ people.

£88 million invested in a new aircraft maintenance hangar, and millions more on new simulators

We’ve recently invested £88 million in a new aircraft maintenance hangar at Gatwick Airport, as well as a new simulator facility nearby – the largest training campus outside of the US.

Increasing Boeing aircraft in the UK Armed Forces fleets with the P-8A

Soon, P-8A maritime patrol aircraft will join the existing fleets of Boeing aircraft with the UK Armed Forces: Chinook, Apache, ScanEagle & Globemaster C-17.

Reaching more young people through community projects and STEM in schools

We’ve reached over 30,000 young people through our UK community projects in the last 10 years and continue to invest in STEM-focused learning & resource programmes for schools, as well as university partnerships.

£40 million invested in our Sheffield manufacturing site

In 2018, our 80th year in the UK, we opened our first European manufacturing site in Sheffield. The factory makes commercial aircraft components for the 737 and 767.
