LONDON, Jan. 27, 2026 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has today announced a charitable grant package of more than £400,000 for 11 non‑profit organisations across the United Kingdom including two new charity partners, the UK Afghanistan Veterans Community and Science Creates Outreach.

"We are delighted to be supporting two new partners: the UK Afghanistan Veterans Community and Science Creates Outreach.  These brilliant organisations are part of our continued support of veterans’ mental well-being and STEM leadership," said Sir Jeremy Quin, president, Boeing UK.  “We are proud to assist charities making important contributions across the UK and especially in the communities where our employees live and work.”

The UK Afghanistan Veterans Community is a new charity, with Boeing one of its inaugural partners. The charity will fund two pilot projects in 2026 that form the foundation of Operation Safe Circle, a bespoke mental health and educational programme focused on:

  • Accredited mental-health peer‑support training to 80 UK Veterans of Afghanistan, equipping them to identify common mental-health crises, deliver immediate frontline support, and make appropriate referrals. This training will expand veteran‑led support capacity and strengthen local peer‑support networks.
  • Deliver training for up to 12 veterans to give in‑school talks, enabling them to safely share their experiences, help pupils understand public service, promote resilience, and strengthen community ties.

Boeing will also partner for the first time with Science Creates Outreach, a STEM charity running curriculum-linked lab workshops for students in the Bristol area. With the charity located in the heart of the South West’s aerospace and engineering hub, where Boeing has a significant employee presence, this partnership will enable Boeing’s local STEM Ambassador network to engage directly with pupils and community groups helping inspire the next generation of engineers and technicians.

In 2026, Boeing will also continue to fund the core programmes that have been part of its philanthropic portfolio for, in some cases, fifteen years. Primary Engineer, Royal Academy of Engineering, Air League, Flying Scholarships for Disabled People, Outfit Moray, The Open University Disabled Veterans’ Scholarships Fund, Royal Aeronautical Society, Windsor Fellowship and SSAFA.

Boeing’s total investment in STEM, veteran support and community projects in the UK over the past decade is more than £4.6 million.

Through these strategic community investments, Boeing and its employees are making a lasting impact and forging partnerships that align with our global objectives to grow STEM pathways, support veterans and strengthen local communities.
