Boeing Shanghai and Virgin Atlantic Sign Five-year Agreement for Boeing 787 Heavy Maintenance Services
Singapore, September 17, 2025 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd (Boeing Shanghai) and UK based Virgin Atlantic today announced the signing of a five-year agreement to perform heavy maintenance checks on Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787 fleet. Under the agreement, Boeing Shanghai will conduct C4 checks and landing gear changes, with the project set to commence in its new state-of-the-art hangar which opens in 2026.
This agreement builds upon BSAS's proven track record of excellence, having successfully completed 34 C-checks over the past five years with a 100% on-time delivery rate since the partnership began in 2020. The renewal and expansion of this long-standing collaboration underscores Virgin Atlantic's confidence in BSAS's world-class maintenance capabilities and operational reliability.
