HRH Duke of Cambridge to attend the 2013 British Military Tournament
LONDON, November 05, 2013 - The British Military Tournament, supported by The Boeing Company raises money for the three national charities of the Armed Forces, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, and The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. Taking place at Earls Court on December 7 & 8, this year’s event will celebrate the achievements of some of our most legendary military heroes from British History. In a spectacular new show, the Tournament will feature; the story of the code-breakers at Bletchley Park, Nelson at Trafalgar, Lawrence of Arabia’s; exploits in Saudi Arabia as well as the remarkable achievements of today’s heroic servicemen and women.

The event is to be narrated live by British actor Anthony Andrews, and will feature pre-recorded contributions by Carol Vorderman, Andy McNab and Martin Shaw. The dazzling arena production will feature re-enactments, death-defying stunts, stunning military ceremonial set pieces, storytelling, music and state-of-the-art special effects. A shopping area with a mix of retail and charity stands will also have something on offer for all, and the exhibition area provides the opportunity to meet members of the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force and to have hands-on experience of some of the latest military kit.
