Boeing publishes 2011 Global Corporate Citizenship Report
January 19, 2012 - We have one simple objective at Boeing: to make the world a better place.
Our intention at The Boeing Company is to lead the aerospace industry into the next century, the same way we have done for the first 100 years and we know that what we do at Boeing has a global impact. We recognize that our pursuit of that vision has significant impact on the individual communities where we live and work as well.
Boeing’s 2011 Corporate Citizenship report reflects some of the ways the company and its employees honour—and extend—the Boeing legacy by helping communities build a better future every day. We hope the stories about our dedicated people and our partners’ efforts will inspire others to take those small and large steps that lead to making a difference now and for generations to come.
In the UK, Boeing proudly supports education and environment projects such as The Schools Build a Plane Challenge in partnership with The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), The Prince’s Trust, The National Memorial Arboretum and The Earth Restoration Service. We also contribute to global activities such as Space Camp and Earth Day.
