Managing Director, Boeing Defence UK
Anna joined Boeing as Managing Director of Boeing Defence UK in 2019 from GKN Aerospace. She is responsible for Boeing UK’s significant defence programmes, people and sites and the organisation’s growth, alignment and business development. Boeing, across all businesses, operates at 65 sites and employs 2,500 people directly and many more through a significant domestic supply chain.
Anna has two decades of global leadership experience in the aerospace and automotive sectors. Before joining Boeing, she was Senior Vice President Business Transformation, leading GKN’s business improvement plan to drive profit, margin and cash and Senior Vice President Commercial, where she assumed responsibility for all GKN Aerospace’s global commercial governance and ensured an aligned customer strategy across the business.
Previously she was Sales and Commercial Director for Cytec, a Global Advanced Materials Manufacturing company. Prior to Cytec, she worked for the Hexcel Corporation in senior programme management, commercial and business development roles which included leading Hexcel’s A350XWB global team. The early part of her career was spent working in the automotive industry, in Australia and Asia, in design and development.
Having worked across 30 countries and lived in Australia, Switzerland, Poland, France and the UK, Anna’s strength lies in her ability to build and manage high-performing diverse global teams in complex technical and multi-cultural international businesses. She holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Business Administration and has an MBA from The University of Melbourne.
Anna is passionate about helping others develop and appears regularly as a keynote speaker at forums aimed at promoting female talent development within the global corporate environment. Anna was one of 2017’s 100 Women to Watch in The Female FSTE Board Report.
