In his role as Managing Director of Boeing Defence UK, Ltd., Mike Kurth is responsible for leading the alignment and integration of all business activity in the UK for Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). He was named to this position in January of 2008.

Mike was retained as a consultant by the McDonnell Douglas Corporation in 1996 after 24 years of distinguished service with the US Marine Corp. He joined them as a full time employee in 1997 and his career with Boeing began after the McDonnell Douglas merger. He worked primarily on Advanced programs from 1999 until August of 2007and was the VP Business Development before his assignment to the UK. During the time he worked developing business for Advanced Programs, the organization enjoyed a win rate of  70% and transitioned over 10 billion dollars of new business to the operating divisions of IDS.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from the Naval War College.
