- Director for UK Industrial Participation
Brian Moran, former Chief of Staff to the President and CEO of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, has been appointed director for UK Industrial Participation (IP) Programmes in September 2007. In this newly elevated role, he is responsible for leading the development and management of Boeing’s offset programmes from the campaign phase through to implementation and closure. Moran is based at the company’s London office, a move that further strengthens Boeing’s presence in the UK and will grow its extensive partnerships with industry, academia and government.
Moran joined The Boeing Company in 2000 as a Contracts & Pricing Specialist on the F/A-18 programme. This new assignment brings Moran back to the IP organisation, having spent three earlier years successfully developing and managing IP programmes throughout Europe as well as Israel. Before his Chief of Staff assignment, Moran completed a Brookings Institution Fellowship on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and served as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Business Development (BD) for Boeing IDS. Moran earned a dual degree in International Business and French from Lindenwood University and a graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University’s Olin School of Business. An American, he was born and raised in Belgium and is fluent in German and French.
